I am Head of Programmes and work within the amazing Community Development Team. The work we complete is rewarding and you really feel like you are making a difference to the quality of people’s lives. My colleagues inspire and motivate me every single day to do the best job I possibly can. We keep the workforce energised and motivated through the implementation of a fantastic wellbeing programme for staff. We have a football team, Zumba sessions, and a walking club to name but a few. I really can’t begin to tell you how happy I am working for Community360, it really is an inspirational place to be.

I joined C360 as a career change from a sales background in March 2020. I have always wanted to be in a role where I felt I was making positive change through the work I do and being a Head of Programmes (HOP) at Community360 has allowed me to do that. I started off in a Senior Engagement position and soon stepped up into the HOP role where I oversee our Essex Family Support Service and Volunteer Centre. The work is varied and dynamic, which I enjoy as every day is different. Community360 offer training and career progression for those who are committed and don’t shy away from a challenge, and I recommend anyone who is interested to apply to join us!

I have been working at C360 for nearly seven years. I am based at the One Colchester Hub on Long Wyre St and really enjoy the variety of work. No two days are the same! My colleagues are dedicated, and caring people and we collaborate with many different organisations, working in partnership to achieve some really good outcomes. But most of all I enjoy working with the community, whether it’s supporting someone to join a social group or helping someone access help which will make a difference to their life.
