As an apprentice you will support and learn within the specific programme of work

Community Accounts Service –  are a specialist accountancy service, established in 1996 supporting CIO’s, CIC’s, charities & non-profit organisations and small businesses.  We provide a range of services ranging from payroll bureau through to independent examinations.  See our webpage for further information about this service – https://www.community360.org.uk/what-we-do/community-accounts/

You will bring:

  • GCSEs (preferably Grade C/4 in English and Maths)
  • The ability to use initiative
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, including using the telephone
  • An appetite for helping whilst having our Purpose and Values at the heart of what you do
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • Flexibility with working hours and location (some weekend work may be required)

What you can expect:

  • Full-time working hours with support to complete your apprenticeship with your chosen educational provider.
  • A base in Tiptree
  • A salary based on the National Minimum Wage rates
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time workers)
  • Five extra days holiday (pro-rata) after five years’ service
  • An extra day’s holiday for your birthday (after passing probation)
  • Up to three days volunteering per year (after passing probation)
